1. No wins in almost two months
The last triumph came in the Russian Cup: it was in the away trip to "Fakel" on the first day of the autumn. And everything was decided in penalties in Voronezh. In regular time "Krasnodar" has not won since 29 August (1:0 against "Rostov" in the Premier League). At the end of summer they were showing almost perfect results, and now they fail to win in seven matches. There was barely an attempt to break the streak: during the home match against "Baltika" they kept a minimal advantage, but missed in the 93rd minute. And that is just right, the Calinigradenses looked at least as good. This registered the fifth draw in seven games. Few defeats, but the second occurred in the last round of the Cup: "Krasnodar" surprised "Fakel" on their own ground (0:2).
2. Vahania can start, Augusto in doubt
In the Cup, Murad Musayev usually rotates, but due to the short squad he always has to use key players. Now Ilya Vahania should be there: the defender will rest over the weekend due to suspension in the next Premier League round. Douglas Augusto could return to the lineup: at least Musayev announced his return after the match with "Baltika". But the midfielder, at best, will start on the bench.
3. "Krasnodar" with modest results in the Russian Cup
In the league they also don't always have attacking efficiency, but in October we already saw five goals in two matches against "Zenit" and "Lokomotiv". In the Cup, "Krasnodar" has never scored more than one goal per game. Two weeks ago they didn't even score against "Fakel" without a header. In four rounds they scored three goals in total: only "Lokomotiv", "Akron" and "Krylya Sovetov" have fewer (2 each). Another negative point: home results. Recently draws were rare, now "Krasnodar" hasn't won four consecutive matches, and both defeats of the year were at home.
Dynamo Moscow
1. "Dynamo" broke the winning streak
Until last Saturday, the Moscow side were breaking records and unbeaten in nine matches. "Dynamo" won seven consecutive league games (the best result in the club's Russian history) and two more in the national Cup.
However, after the triumph in the derby against CSKA, where "Dynamo" became the sole leader of the Premier League, they suffered a defeat away at "Akron": the white‑blues not only lost points, the trip to Samara ended with a loss (1:3). Thus "Dynamo" lost the top spot in the table. In the Cup group stage the team remains on top, with a two‑point advantage over "Krasnodar".
2. "Dynamo" lost Marichal
The Uruguayan was injured in the first half of the match against "Akron". Therefore, at minute 31 Juan Caserés was introduced, although before the match Sandro Schwarz said the Paraguayan had minor health and rhythm issues.
After an unexpected hour of play, Caserés will surely have a break, so on the right side of defense Leo Zaydenzhal must come out. On the left will be Dmitry Skopintsev, who was suspended in the Cup.
3. "Dynamo" hasn't won in Krasnodar in a long time
Recently "Krasnodar" has become a very uncomfortable rival. In spring, "Dynamo" took the gold of the Premier League, but the dramatic win at "VTB Arena" at the end of last season remains the only one in 11 encounters. More than two and a half years without even scoring: the drought lasted eight matches (≈835 minutes). They haven't won abroad since April 2022.
At the same time, at some point the Moscow side stopped losing in regular time, and in the first match after Schwarz's return they were burned 0:1 against their own tribunals. But since then the form of both teams has changed seriously.

"Krasnodar" cannot achieve the long‑awaited victory. The last time they won was 1 September: if we strictly consider regular time, the streak extends from the summer. The Musayev team almost beat "Baltika", but due to the late goal they only got a draw: already the fifth in seven matches. "Krasnodar" still has few defeats, but both occurred at home. Even the home‑field factor does not help break the dark streak. In the Cup, the "bulls" also have modest results: only three goals in four rounds.
"Dynamo" had a phenomenal series of nine wins, but when they reached sole leadership of the Premier League, the Schwarz team immediately failed away at "Akron" (1:3). The Moscow side slid from the top in the league, now they must maintain the first place in the Russian Cup. Moreover, victories over "Krasnodar" are very rare, and winning in the south has not been possible for more than four years. It is very likely that the new meeting will go to penalties.
