2. Benjamin remains unavailable
Akron’s top scorer, with 4+2 in ten RPL matches, has already missed two consecutive games. All due to an injury the winger suffered in the national team, which worsened after the game with Rostov.
According to club director Konstantin Klyush, recovery will take another two weeks. For now, Artem Shumanskiy occupies Benjamin’s spot in the offensive trio. It is not ruled out that Dmitry Pestryakov, who is gradually returning after a long absence, will appear in the starting lineup against Dynamo.
3. Akron lacks defensive reliability
In 11 RPL rounds, 20 goals have been conceded: only Dynamo Makhachkala (21) and Rodina (27) are worse. However, progress is noticeable, as in four matches Akron conceded at most one goal. Three of those four were away, and at home the team makes errors far more frequently.
Although the last home game ended in a goalless win over Akhmat, previously Akron conceded at least two goals. Krylya Sovetov brought three, Zenit five, and all without reply. In total, 12 goals were scored in four matches (excluding the game against Akhmat).
Dynamo Moscow
1. The winning streak reached nine matches
The last time, Dynamo lost on 19 August in the cup competition against Krasnodar (0:1). The defeat at VTB Arena was the second consecutive and the third in the last five matches, but everything changed since then.
Now Dynamo occupies first place in the cup group, and recently the club secured absolute dominance in the RPL thanks to the win over CSKA (3:1). With two goals in the final, the "blacks and blues" inflicted the first defeat to their rival in the current league season. Dynamo won for the first time in history seven consecutive league matches in Russia.
25 points after 11 rounds: the best result for the club at this distance since 1995.
2. Caseres and Rubens return
In the derby against CSKA, Sandro Schwartz had to dispense with both full‑backs who were suspended. Although the losses did not prevent the win, now the Paraguayan and the Brazilian must return to the starting lineup.
In central defense, Maksim Osipenko may appear. The main defender recovered from injury, but in the last round, to avoid a relapse, he was given less than half an hour. He will likely start from the beginning now.
3. Dynamo does not play as confidently away
In RPL home matches, the result is practically perfect: 16 points out of 18 possible. It is the best performance alongside Spartak, which played more. Away, Dynamo has only nine points (3rd place): three wins and two losses.
On the other hand, over time the team has improved remarkably. Dynamo lost the first two away matches, but then won three consecutive times. However, the Moscowers truly performed confidently only against Rostov: this meeting ended in an overwhelming victory (3:0). With Lokomotiv and Rubin, everything was decided by one goal.
